Hiking in our hidden gem
We met our new CPR manikins (I should have got a photo of Akela trying out ventriloquy – it was great!) and then we hiked off from Akela’s through the Bangalay Reserve. The Scouts had been along the track the night before to clear the scrub so it was easy enough for us. We had fun exploring the caves, crossing the creek and then climbing the hill on the other side. The Joeys then left us and the Cubs hiked to Murray Street, where we had a small birthday party for Heath.
