Corroboree 2018
This year is off to an amazing start! Corroboree is a 5 day camp run by Hunter & Coastal region, this year at Tocal Agricultural College and was attended by nearly 800 Scouts (and plenty of dedicated Venturers, Rovers and leaders too). Our troop consisted of 45 Scouts from Belmont North, Cardiff, Drummoyne, Edgeworth, Northmead, Rathmines and Teralba and 8 leaders. That’s a lot people for dinner (Thanks to Valentine Scout Group for the loan of their dining fly)!
Thanks so much for the way everyone behaved, for working hard to make sure that everyone had a good time and enjoyed the variety of activities on offer. It was hot and cold, surprisingly wet at times and *SO* tiring but equally so much fun. Rockets, camels, canoes, lasers, the flying fox and climbing wall… too much to list! Bring on 2018 and then AJ2019 with these awesome Scouts. Thanks to the dedicated leaders who helped before, during and after the camp and to the brilliant Rovers who made people laugh when shoes went missing (subsequently found!) and helped setup and pack up the tents with the energy and enthusiasm that made a hellish task so much more enjoyable.
