Marchant Marine Memorial Service
It wasn’t the best weather to be providing the colour party for the Merchant Marine Memorial Service but the Scouts did a great job. The service was relocated to the old train sheds so we needed to rig up a makeshift flag pole for the red ensign and organise to fly a Red Cross flag and banner. The organisers were very thankful for the help and the service was quite well attended despite the poor weather. After lunch we visited the Maritime Museum which was great.
